Ayodhya Yatra

Ayodhya Yatra is popular not only in India but also all over the world as an ancient city of India situated in the district of Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh. According to Puranas, the city of Ayodhya is one of the six holiest places of Hinduism. Ayudhya Yatra is special because it is this holy place where Hindus believed that the Lord Rama was born and because of that this city is popularly known as Ram Janmabhoomi. Ayodhya Yatra is a historical Yatra where the Hindu Kingdom of Kosala flourished, where the chapters of the mythological religious epic of Mahabharata were said to begin. It was during the period of Gautam Buddha that the city was known as Ayojjha in Pali script. During the period of British Empire this city of Ayodhya was known as Oudh. Today, Ayudhya Yatra is very popular because this city is built by gods and being as prosperous as paradise itself. People are making their Ayodhya Yatra because it is the place belonged to the famous and great spiritual personalities of India like King Dasaratha, Lord Rama, King Harishchandra, birth place of five Tirthankars, including Shri Rishabh Dev, the first Tirthankar of Jainism, Bhagwan Swaminarayan, Tulsidas, Bhahubali, Brahmi, Sundari, Acharya Padaliptasurisvarji, Achalbhrata and many more.
